Archaeology, History, Genetics - Conflicting Evidence
Genetics - An Unfolding Story
The study of genetics is throwing up some anomalies. Take, for instance, this report published 29 September 2011 in NewScientist Life titled "The vast Asian realm of the lost humans.""The Denisovans, mysterious cousins of the Neanderthals, occupied a vast realm stretching from the chill expanse of Siberia to the steamy tropical forests of Indonesia - suggesting the third human of the Pleistocene displayed a level of adaptability previously thought to be unique to modern humans."It goes on to discuss the relatively short north/south area that Neanderthal occupied compared to the much larger area occupied by the Denisovans. The important point seems to be the sheer variety of conditions that the Denisovans could endure compared to Neanderthal. They also discuss the Denisovans interbreeding with Homo sapiens and some of the effects of this.
Archaeological Finds That Question History
Archaeological finds don't always agree with our understanding of the history and time-lines of life on this World. There are some finds that are millions of years out of step with what is currently known. So far in fact, that it appears to have been impossible. This article "The History Before History, Part 1" published on November 20th, 2008 on The Epoch Times, begins a 3 part series that lists and explains a growing number of these unexplained finds. When you consider that man as a species is not likely to have existed any more than 3 million years.
And that 280 million years ago, the trilobite (small sea creatures) became extinct.
How then can you have a fossil of a human foot stepping on and squashing a trilobite?
Follow the two links and Enjoy!
